Whew! We made it!

Sorry it has been so long between posts. We have been SUPER busy over the last week and it has finally died down a little bit! I have quite a few things to update!

1. We made it to Arizona!! Without either of us getting a traffic ticket!! We both arrived on Saturday and are slowly settling in. The time change is what's getting me the most, but hopefully I will adapt soon enough.

2. The lady accepted the counter offer for the house!! The inspection yielded nothing major (thank god!), and the option period for her to back out is over at Midnight Wednesday.

3. I got to see the plot and the new house here in Az! It is HUGE!!! I am so excited b/c I get to buy lots of furniture and decorations and fun stuff like that!! Scott says I have to buy baby furniture first though.

4. My morning Sickness is back. I am not throwing up, but I have been feeling pretty miserable the last few days. I think it's b/c I went back to taking the vitamins from before b/c they were all I could find in my suit case until recently when I found all of the others. I wil definately be switching back tonight.

5. My appt w/ the new OB in AZ today didn't happen. I got there and apparently whom ever I made the appt with failed to tell me that they don't accept our insurance when I told her what it was. Ugh. They did however refer me to someone down the road that they really like and who does accept our insurance. I have an appt with them on Wednesday and Scott will be able to go :o) He will get to see Baby for the first time!! I am really excited.

Last Day

Today was my last day for a few things. Some I'm excited about and others I am not so excited about.

First off today is my last FULL day w/o Scott! I am soo excited to finally get to see him tomorrow after 7 weeks being apart!

Second today was my last day at IPT. I am sad about it. I grew to love the kids that we saw in therapy, I really loved working with and getting to know Megan, and I promise to keep in touch and send pictures! She gave me one of the Willow Tree Angel figurines. I LOVE Willow Tree and I am soo excited about it. I showed it off to everyone that came to my house tonight (which was about 10 between realtors, friends, etc!). Thanks Megan, you rock!

Third today was my last day to see Kristin. She was my Maid-of-Honor in my wedding and has been my bestest Dallas and Nacogdoches friend for over 5 years. I am really going to miss her. She leaves for California tomorrow, like the punk she is!

And finally today was my last time to eat at Fireside Pies. Sounds lame I know, but I have grown to love this pizza place in Plano. Scott and Garry and I have eaten there often and they just have rockin' pizza. Luckily I have left overs for lunch tomorrow :o)

We found out today that Scott has a degenerative disk in his back. He didn't throw it out like we first thought, but this diagnosis doesnt go away as easily either. Apparently one of the disks between his vertabrae has lost some of the spinal fluid in it causing him to be in pain. The doctor said that helping move and everything that he can't do anything to hurt it, but it will cause him lots of pain. He didn't give him anything for the pain though, odd. He can go to treatments and therapy to help it (he will be going, he just doesnt realize it yet! If I have the joy of birthing a baby you can go to back therapy!).

We signed all the paper work for the counter offer so here's to hoping they accept it. It's a good deal for all parties so I am confident it will work out.

2 days Exactly

Until I get to see Scott again!!! I am so excited to get to see him again!!! I cannot wait until Tuesday at 8:05 (when his plane lands).

In other exciting news...we have an offer on our house!!! I am really excited. We countered asking for a little more, but if not we will definately accept the original offer. I am so excited that everything is finally falling into place. We leave for AZ this week. I will probably leave Friday afternoon. I will not be making the drive all in one day, like Scott plans to do. I just can't wait to finally get there and have all of this stuff behind us and for everyone to be back together again. Boomer really misses the big dogs and I know he will be excited to be reunited with them too!!

Not much else going on. I am back to having some nausea. It's mainly b/c I have NO desire to eat, and when I go longer than a few hours w/o eating I get nauseas. But, NOTHING sounds good to eat. I ate breadsticks with marinara for dinner w/ grape juice. That's how bad the food aversions are. I also get nauseas at night, but that's do-able b/c I am at home and I can lay down and study or watch t.v. with Boomer.

I will finish my speech hours tomorrow. I am really going to miss Megan, Katie, and the kids. But definately plan on keeping in touch. I cannot express my gratitude to Megan and IPT for helping me get my hours. Without them I would have not been able to get paid for my first two months working, and that would have been hard. Thanks guys you ROCK!!!

Last Day w/ My Sister

I am really excited to spend the afternoon with my sister today, but I am also kind of sad about it. This is my "good-bye day" with my sister. She will be working all next week and this will be the last time I see her before moving to Arizona. My sister and I are really close, and I can't even begin to count how many times she has "rescued" me, helped me, etc. She is the one person in my crazy family that I know I can always rely on to be there if I need her. I think it will be hard to be so far away, but I know that we can always visit each other.

The closer we get to leaving for Arizona the more nervous I get about it. I'm not nervous about moving away with Scott or anything like that. I am nervous b/c I only know his family out there. I have none of my family or really good friends out there, and what if something happens and I need them? I know I have Scott and his family and that I can make friends, it's just different. I guess call me sentimental, but I really like having my family and friends close by. I know I will get over it, it's just my current train of thought. June 27th seemed so far away and now it's next Friday. I am REALLY glad to get to see Scott again, I just kind of hoped to have more time in Dallas.

Boomer & Mud

I Love Boomer, but w/o fail every time it rains he MUST play in the mud afterwards. It's really cute, but can be totally frustrating when you are trying to sell your house. But he looks so cute, I can't stay mad at him about it long. Luckily this time I caught him before he got off of the tile and onto the carpet. He does look really cute and super proud that he was playing in the mud. I didn't get any pictures of him this time, but the picture is from the last time he played in the mud!

I am back to being super exhausted again. Probably b/c I didn't sleep well last night. I had to spray the "odoban" in the computer room again b/c of the humidity. After spraying it I had the epiphany that it's probably not a good idea for me to be inhaling the fumes b/c I am pregnant. So then I got all paranoid as to whether or not the fumes would cause birth defects, etc. So, needless to say I worried about that all night and didn't sleep well. I called the company and they said it has no effects, but then again they wouldn't want me to stop using their product. So I called the pharmacists and she assured me everything would be fine, she just wouldn't do what I did again, let someone else do it. So, Zach has a new job! I think he will enjoy it, maybe.

Not much else going on. We are pretty boring. Just getting ready to move and getting nervous and stressing about selling our house, although the realtos assures me we will have no problem. It hasn't sold yet, so I am going to be nervous/stressed about it until it does. Scott is supposed to hear from the builders of the house we want in Tucson today. I pray that they bring good news and we can have the lot he has picked out!

Boomer & Aaron

I came to my dad's office today to use his computer and study for my AZ licensing test while we had 3 separate Realtors showing our house. I am excited about all of the showing. Please pray that something comes out of them. I have to leave for AZ the last weekend in June to make my OB appt on the 30th. I am hoping that we have a contract on the house or better yet have it sold by then and be closing on it.

I brought Boomer with me to my dad's office so he wouldn't be in the house with the people coming through, and they wouldn't see anything dog related. He and my littlest brother, Aaron, are playing on the floor in one of the offices at my dad's. It is really cute and funny. It took Boomer a little time to warm up to Aaron (of course) but now that are goofing off. It's hilarious and cute. Shh don't tell Aaron!

My dad is going to lunch with a client at Rockfish (Aaron and I's favorite place to eat around here) and we told him that we wanted to go, but we would eat at a separate booth. So Aaron and I will get yummy lunch, but not have to sit throught the boring accounting stuff, Score!

Not much else going on today. I was able to sleep on and off until 9:15 this morning, but I did have to get up at least 4 time to pee during the night, that's going to get old real quick! But everyday I wake up I am a little more nauseas, which sucks for me but it's good new for Baby!

Oh! Scott and his mom went looking around some furniture store in Tucson yesterday and Scott said they found a chair that was bright pink that had the name "Addison" monogrammed on it and he and his mom about collapsed. For those that don't know Addison Jane is our front runner for a girl's name right now and Myself and Scott's grandma are certain we are having a girl! Bev offered to buy the chair when we find out for certain it's a girl!! Woohoo!!! That would be sooo cute. Scott also found some stuff online and at Loew's for a Puppy themed nursery. I really want to do the puppy theme it is really cute and we are HUGE dog people, and we could use it for the next baby since it will be basically uni-sexed! Everything is falling into place, I just can't wait until the 12th when I get to see the baby and the heart beat!

Chillin' at home!

Zach and I aren't doing anything too exciting this weekend. We are just hanging around the house relaxing, which is nice for a change. Today we are pet sitting Rex, our friends dog while they are out, and he and Boomer are having a blast together! I am glad b/c last time we kept Rex, Boomer passed out as soon as he left! And I know Boomer misses the big dogs so it is nice for him to have another dog to play with instead of only humans!

I am going to spend a few hours studying for my licensing test today (*yawn*). I need to get started on it even though it's over a month and a half away. And I will take a trip to Target to get some groceries for Z's lunch this week and a few other things we have run out of! Maybe I will be able to take a nap (doubtful).
